A dynamic and inclusive secondary school in Tower Hamlets is seeking a Science Technician to join their science department from September 2025.

?? Location: Tower Hamlets, East London?? Start Date: September 2025?? Role: Science Technician?? School Type: Secondary (ages 11-16)?? Contract: Full-time, term-time only?? Salary: £95-£110 per day (depending on experience)

• Prepare and set up equipment and materials for practical science lessons (Biology, Chemistry, Physics)

• Ensure all apparatus and chemicals are stored, maintained, and handled safely

• Support teaching staff during experiments and demonstrations

• Maintain accurate stock records and order resources when needed

• Ensure the science labs are clean, safe, and well-organised

• Adhere to health & safety and COSHH regulations at all times

• Experience working in a science lab (school or industry) is preferred

• Sound knowledge of health & safety procedures, including COSHH

• Excellent organisation and time management skills

• A science-related qualification (A-level or higher)

• A proactive, reliable, and team-focused approach

• Previous school-based experience is desirable but not essential

• A supportive and friendly science department
