Pay Rate: £100 - £120 per day

Are you an experienced and motivated Science Technician looking for your next opportunity?Join a highly regarded secondary school in Croydon and play a key role in supporting high-quality science education.

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Science Technician to join a dynamic Science Department from September 2025. You will provide essential support for Biology, Chemistry, and Physics lessons, ensuring the smooth preparation and safe delivery of practical experiments.

• Prepare and set up laboratory equipment and materials for science lessons

• Support teaching staff during practical sessions

• Maintain stock levels and ensure safe storage and disposal of chemicals

• Assist with the development of science lesson resources

• Uphold health and safety standards in all lab activities

• Ensure the science labs are clean, well-organized, and fully equipped

• Prior experience working as a Science Technician in a UK secondary school

• Strong understanding of laboratory protocols and Health & Safety regulations

• Confidence in handling chemicals and preparing experiments across all three sciences

• Relevant qualifications or experience in a science-related field

• Hold an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or be willing to obtain one before starting

• Work in a supportive, forward-thinking secondary school

• Be part of a collaborative and experienced science department

• Excellent transport links in and around Croydon
