Tradewind is working in partnership with a group of innovative and inclusive secondary schools in Northampton, each looking to appoint a passionate Science Teacher from September 2025. These are full-time roles, with both permanent and long-term options available, depending on your career plans.
The Role:Teach Science across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 available in some schools, depending on subject specialism)
Create engaging, practical lessons that encourage exploration, critical thinking, and problem-solving
Support students of all abilities through adaptive teaching and evidence-informed strategies
Contribute to curriculum design, assessment planning, and extra-curricular Science events
Lead or support STEM initiatives such as clubs, competitions, and eco-projects
A qualified teacher (QTS/QTLS or equivalent) with a Science background
Ability to teach at least two disciplines within Biology, Chemistry, and Physics
A creative and motivated classroom practitioner with strong subject knowledge
Excellent communication and behaviour management skills
A collaborative, reflective approach and a passion for inspiring young minds
