Science Teachers

Tradewind Recruitment are recruiting for a full time/part time Science Teachers based in Pocklington and York starting ASAP and acting on an ad-hoc basis, stepping up to full time when needed. This is a temporary position. Payment for this position will be in line with the main teaching pay scale, between £31,650 and £49084 (this may change if pay scales increase in the new academic year).

This role will involve teaching Science to Key Stage 3 and 4 students, and will involve all the planning and marking associated with a teaching role. The timetable is slightly under time table, so there will be periods of general cover on the timetable for the successful candidate to make up the hours.

With schools located in Pocklington and York, these school is easily accessible from areas of Hull and the East Riding and from North Yorkshire. There is a large onsite car park for candidates who do drive. You will be entering a variety of schools to offer new experiences.

Tradewind will also support your development during your placement and beyond through our fantastic CPD via The National College. Signing up for this role means you can be offered other shifts and roles through Tradewind Recruitment. You will be joining an agency with a large number of schools in the local area who work extremely closely, and as such (after this placement) there will be lots of opportunities for work in a variety of different schools.

To join us and be successful in this role you will need to:

• Have experience working within schools in the UK.
• Has experience supporting within UK schools
• Has experience teaching Science to Key Stage 3 and 4 students
• Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
• CV must cover the full CV History
• Legal right to work in the UK
