About the Role:An excellent secondary school in Greenwich is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Science Teacher to join their dynamic team from September. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified teacher to deliver engaging and innovative lessons across Key Stage 3, inspiring students and promoting a deep understanding of scientific principles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach General Science to students in KS3, following the national curriculum.

• Create a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity and critical thinking.

• Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of students.

• Work collaboratively with the Science Department to plan lessons and share best practices.

• Support the school's ethos and contribute to extra-curricular science activities where appropriate.

Requirements:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

• Experience teaching Science at Key Stage 3 level (KS4 experience is a plus but not essential).

• Strong subject knowledge and effective classroom management.

• Passionate about science education and committed to student achievement.

• Ability to differentiate instruction and support a range of learning needs.
