REED/LTA are looking for a proactive and adaptable School Office Administrator to join a vibrant primary school in Preston. This role is ideal for someone with a strong administrative background and the ability to quickly learn new systems. While school-based experience is preferred, it is not essential. The role offers the potential for permanent employment for the right candidate.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Manage daily school registers and coordinate student meal plans.
- Provide front desk support, greeting and assisting students, parents, and visitors.
- Handle telephone and email inquiries efficiently.
- Perform general administrative tasks including filing, photocopying, and document management.
- Support the school's administrative team with various tasks as needed.
- Maintain confidentiality of student and school records.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven administrative experience with transferable skills to a school environment.
- Quick learner with the ability to adapt to new systems and processes.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g., MS Office).
