Salary: £460-£500 per week

Contract: Full-Time | Long-Term | Monday-Friday, 08:30-15:30

A fantastic SEN school in Bedford is looking for a compassionate and driven graduate to join their team as a School Mental Health Teaching Assistant. You'll work closely with their clinical staff, supporting students with a range of needs including Social, Emotional and Mental Health challenges, ADHD, Down Syndrome, and Speech, Language & Communication Needs.

• Provide tailored, 1:1 and small group support to students with complex mental health and behavioural needs
• Work collaboratively with the school's clinical and SEN teams

• Support students in developing emotional regulation, communication, and coping skills

Who We're Looking For:

• A graduate in Psychology, Criminology, or a related field (experience with SEN is a plus)
• A genuine passion for mental health and working with vulnerable young people
• Strong communication, empathy, and interpersonal skills
• Someone local to or able to commute to Bedford
