We are currently recruiting reliable and proactive School Caretakers to support a number of secondary schools in Tower Hamlets on a contract basis. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong work ethic and a background in facilities, maintenance, or site support to play a vital role in maintaining a safe and welcoming school environment.

• Location: Secondary schools across Tower Hamlets

• Start Date: Immediate or negotiable

• Contract Type: Temporary/Contract via education agency

• Working Hours: Full-time (Mon-Fri) - hours may vary slightly by school

• Rate: Competitive daily rate, paid weekly

• Opening and closing school premises

• General site maintenance, including minor repairs and upkeep

• Ensuring health & safety standards are upheld at all times

• Supporting with deliveries, cleaning, and equipment set-up

• Reporting issues and liaising with site managers and school staff

• Previous experience in a similar caretaker, facilities, or site role

• A practical, hands-on approach and good problem-solving skills

• Flexibility and willingness to travel within Tower Hamlets

• An enhanced DBS certificate (registered on the update service or willing to apply)

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
