School Administrator with SIMS Experience

Location: Knowsley

Contract Type: Temporary/Contract (with potential for long-term opportunities)

Minimum Rate-of-Pay: £95 per-day

The Role:

Prospero are currently seeking a skilled and experienced School Administrator to join the team, supporting one of our specialist client schools in Knowsley. The ideal candidate will have significant experience with the School Information Management System (SIMS) and a passion for contributing to the smooth operation of educational environments. This role is pivotal in ensuring efficient administrative and clerical support, directly impacting the school's overall functionality and success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently manage student data, including admissions, transfers, and attendance records using SIMS.
  • Handle sensitive information with discretion and in compliance with GDPR and other relevant legislation.
  • Provide administrative support to teaching staff and senior leaders, including document preparation, correspondence, and scheduling.
  • Assist in the coordination and organisation of school events and activities.
  • Manage communications with parents, students, and staff, ensuring clarity and professionalism.
  • Support the finance team with invoicing, purchase orders, and other financial transactions within SIMS.
  • Contribute to the maintenance of a safe, orderly, and supportive school environment.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a school administrative role with extensive use of SIMS.
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A commitment to confidentiality and the ability to handle sensitive information.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and other administrative software.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently.
  • Eligibility to work in the UK.
