With a number of delegated authority schemes across property, liability, and combined risks, they pride themselves on their technical expertise, strong broker relationships and collaborative culture.About the Role:This is a unique opportunity for a technical underwriter who’s ready to take the next step in their career. You’ll take ownership of scheme performance, supporting with governance, audits, and MI analysis, while still staying close to the underwriting – stepping in to support the team with referrals and holiday cover when needed.You’ll be working closely with the senior management team and have the opportunity to contribute to wider business strategy and the future of the scheme portfolio. It’s a great move for someone who enjoys balancing technical work with commercial thinking.What You'll Be Doing:

• Overseeing the day-to-day management and performance of delegated schemes
• Ensuring underwriting governance, compliance, and controls are followed
• Supporting with audits (internal and external) and producing MI and performance analysis
• Acting as technical referral point for the wider underwriting team
• Stepping in to support with underwriting when needed (e.g. holidays or peaks)
• Working with capacity providers and supporting with scheme renewals or reviews
• Identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, controls, and performance of the schemes

About You:

• Strong technical commercial underwriting background – ideally across property, liability or combined risks
• Experience working within an MGA or delegated authority environment would be a bonus
• Confident managing scheme performance, analysis and working with data
• Comfortable liaising with brokers, capacity providers, and internal stakeholders
• Ambitious, commercially minded, and ready to step up into a broader role
