We’re on the lookout for an experienced Scheduling Coordinator to join a fast-paced, dynamic business in Solihull. This is a hands-on role where you’ll be responsible for coordinating and planning the daily workloads of a team of engineers, ensuring jobs are allocated efficiently based on location, skillset, and urgency.If you’ve previously worked in a scheduling or planning role where you’ve been communicating directly with engineers, managing diaries, and supporting customers, this could be the perfect next step.This is more than just a job, it’s a chance to become part of a friendly and supportive team where no two days are the same, and yes, you’ll be greeted by a very friendly office dog each morning! - Coordinating daily engineer schedules and job planning.
- Liaising directly with engineers to confirm job details, changes, or updates throughout the day.
- Managing inbound enquiries via phone and email with confidence and accuracy.
- Using Microsoft Excel and CRM Systems to manage service cases and log activities.
- Logging and updating service requests and prioritising tasks efficiently.
- Delivering top-notch customer service at all times.
- Monitoring service performance and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
- Handling urgent and time-sensitive service jobs with efficiency and calm under pressure.
- Maintaining a professional and positive relationship with customers and engineers.
- Supporting the wider operations team to ensure service level agreements are met.
Skills and experience required:
- Proven experience in scheduling engineers, service coordination, or a similar fast-paced operational role.
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to drive due to office location.
- Confident communicator with a professional and friendly manner when speaking to engineers, clients, and internal teams.
- Excellent administration, communication and organisational skills.
- A high degree of self-management and initiative.
- Strong IT skills including Microsoft Office and Excel.
- A cool head under pressure and the ability to juggle priorities.
