Job Purpose
As a Scaffolding Contract Manager, you will manage a team of Project Managers, delivering multiple scaffolding projects across Scotland. You’ll provide an excellent end-to-end scaffolding service to our clients, maintaining high standards and ensuring a seamless experience for our clients. You’ll provide regular reports/updates on how your teams are progressing, recognising best practice and managing performance through others to achieve objectives.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
- Assign projects to Project Managers and oversee their completion to QHSE and company standards.
- Forward plan resources: materials, labour, transport, client programs
- Make timely, informed decisions to maintain project momentum
- Resolve project-related issues with confidence and creativity
- Strong problem-solving skills to identify and resolve matters quickly and professionally
- Provide update reports to Head of Operations for all aspects of projects
- Consistently achieve required deadlines
- Clear, regular and professional communication to both the internal team and clients.
- Lead by example with professional, safety-first way of working
- Oversee the preparation and delivery of all project-specific documentation including RAMS, designs, footprints, material lists, and price lists.
- Ensure your team are operating in full compliance with A/S/S policies and procedures at all times.
- Update Head of Operations regularly with progress, wins, learning and priorities
- Manage and analyse all month-end documentation, report wins, learning and priorities to Head of Operations.
