SC cleared DevOps Engineer - Sanderson : Job Details

Location: Hybrid - Willing to spend 1-2 days a week on site - right now it's more like 1 day a fortnight. Bristol (Filton Abbey Wood) is the main site at the moment but could be London (Holborn)Rate: £500-£530 INSIDE IR35

Clearance: Must have a current and valid Defence SC clearance ( no lapsed clearances accepted) - Must be sole British National

Key Skills

* Predominantly (but not exclusively) working on AWS* Extensive use of Kubernetes and Docker, including Openshift* Extensive experience of Gitlab/Github for source control* Good understanding of CI/CD's role in delivering software is more important than specific tooling - given we're having to adapt traditional develop low/deploy high approaches to fit our classified integration and deployment needs* Extensive experience of Linux, including scripting, etc.Nice to have* Experience of deploying to Azure* Knowledge of classified working practices/risk appetite/policies in classified environment* We're working across security domains, so any knowledge of cross domain solutions or air gapped is a plusAWS as initial hosting provider* Containerised apps using Docker and Kubernetes* Apache Jena* Elastic* PostGIS* Kafka* Apache NiFi* AWS Cognito* HTTP REST, GraphQL, SPARQL interfaces* Web apps based on HTML/CSS/Javascript frameworks such as ReactThe team is small and directly exposed to client stakeholders of varying technical knowledge so strong communication skills are essential
