SAP Analyst - Matchtech : Job Details

SAP Analyst | Permanent | BishopstokeAs an SAP Analyst, you will be a crucial member of the regional SAP team, reporting directly to the IT business solution team lead. Your primary responsibility will be to provide SAP-based solutions,specifically focusing on Operations, Plant Maintenance, and MES functions mainly for the UK locations, but also supporting the North Europe region.You will be hands-on involved in the daily SAP incident and small change management processes, either by supporting the business personally or helping the team the find the best solutions for internal customers. You will collaborate with other IT business partners and stakeholders to identify and implement process improvements and best practices in different SAP processes.You will play a key role in the digital transformation of the group by exploring and evaluating new technologies and their benefits.Experience in IT or business role in operations or supply chain area is essential for this position. Good background would be SAP analyst or SAP senior consultant with long experience of positive business improvement SAP projects and hands on involvement in daily support activitiesResponsibilities

• SAP incident and change management process with hands-on involvement
• Act as a key member or leading focal point in various international SAP and IT projects
• Strong cross-functional leadership in business process improvement initiatives
• Active counterpart to business stakeholders to propose new solutions and align on business requirements
• Provide SAP support and training to end-users and business stakeholders
• Actively try out and evaluate business potential in new digital technologies
• Coordination and prioritization of local SAP and other applicative requirements with identification of potential synergies across different countries and businesses
• Liaison with Group HQ IT business partners to coordinate group level projects and synergies

Skills & Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in IT or relevant engineering field
• Long experience with SAP business process design, implementation and problem solving preferably in operations area and S/4 Hana
• Familiarity with SAP implementation methodologies, including system configuration, custom development, and testing. Basic knowledge of ABAP programming and debugging
• Skills in analyzing and interpreting financial data and a strong understanding of the various business processes
• Project management experience in IT or business improvement projects
• Personal interest in new technologies in IT and Digital
• Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively communicate with business stakeholders, end-users and technical teams in an international environment
• Flexible and patient attitude with strong willingness to help
• Excellent command of English
