The ideal candidate will have a passion for woodworking and a keen eye for detail. You will be responsible for preparing wood surfaces for finishing by sanding, smoothing, and prepping them to perfection.

• Operate sanding equipment and hand tools to smooth wood surfaces.
• Inspect wood for defects, such as knots, cracks, and dents, and repair them as needed.
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
• Collaborate with other team members to meet production deadlines and quality standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the work area.

Successful Applicants

• Previous experience in woodworking or a related field preferred.
• Proficiency in operating sanding equipment and hand tools.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques and processes.
