Sales Office Manager
Location: Hybrid – minimum 3 days per week in Llanwrtyd Wells, Mid Wales
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £45,000–£55,000 performance bonus benefits
We’re recruiting a Sales Office Manager to lead and develop an internal sales team within a well-established UK business. This is a hands-on role where you’ll oversee daily operations, drive high standards of customer service, and support the external sales team in securing and growing key accounts.
This hybrid role requires a regular on-site presence (at least 3 days a week) to provide leadership and ensure smooth day-to-day sales operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, manage, and develop the internal sales team, setting objectives and driving performance.
- Oversee customer enquiries, quotations, and order processing to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Build strong relationships with key accounts, working closely with external sales to deliver a seamless customer experience.
- Support complex orders and liaise with suppliers to resolve challenges.
- Develop and implement sales strategies in line with company goals.
- Monitor KPIs, pipeline activity, and provide regular performance reports.
- Enhance internal processes to improve communication and efficiency.
- Keep up to date with industry trends and market activity.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience managing and developing an internal sales or customer service team.
- Strong track record in B2B sales or account management.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills with the ability to lead by example.
- Proficient with CRM systems, reporting tools, and Microsoft Office.
- Willing to be based in Llanwrtyd Wells at least 3 days a week.
- Full UK driving licence.
Desirable:
- Experience in electronics, engineering, or technical product sales.
- Familiarity with ISO, AS, BS, or CECC quality standards.
- Background in quality-critical sectors (defence, aerospace, rail, or industrial).
