We cater to a diverse customer base including major e-commerce platforms, independent retailers, and trade professionals. Due to continued growth, we are seeking a Sales Office Administrator to support our dynamic sales team.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Process customer orders received via phone, email, and EDI (Electronic Data Interchange).
- Accurately enter customer orders into our sales order system and generate invoices.
- Respond to administrative customer service requests and coordinate with the sales and warehouse teams to ensure high service levels.
- Develop product knowledge to assist customers effectively and work closely with the field-based sales team, technical team, logistics, and warehouse team.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Friendly and professional telephone manner to positively represent our organisation.
- Comfortable using computer programs such as Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Familiarity with UK geography to assist customers in locating stockists.
- Strong team player with a helpful attitude toward colleagues and customers.
- Enthusiastic and well-organised, capable of handling multiple tasks efficiently.
