Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

Leading and Managing the Sales Team

  • Recruiting, hiring, and training new sales representatives.
  • Setting individual and team sales targets and quotas.
  • Motivating and coaching the sales team to achieve goals.
  • Conducting performance reviews and providing feedback.
  • Developing and implementing sales strategies.
  • Managing a national sales team.

Marketing Focus

  • Work cohesively with the marketing manager.
  • Identify needs and align the marketing strategy with sales objectives.

Managing Sales Operations

  • Overseeing the sales pipeline and ensuring efficient processes.
  • Setting sales targets.
  • Analysing sales data and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Managing the sales budget and resources.
  • Collaborating with marketing and other departments.

Building and Maintaining Customer Relationships

  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with key clients.
  • Ensuring customer satisfaction and addressing any issues.
  • Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.

Driving Sales Growth

  • Meeting or exceeding sales targets and revenue goals.
  • Analysing sales data and implementing strategies to increase revenue.
  • Monitoring market trends and competitor activities.
  • Staying up-to-date on product knowledge and industry trends.

Reporting and Analysis

  • Generating and analysing sales reports for senior management.
  • Presenting insights and recommendations to improve performance.
  • Tracking key performance indicators (KPIs).

  • Maintain sales targets throughout the year
  • Maintain GP targets
  • Maintain quote conversion rate above 60%

Qualifications / Expertise

  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure
