Join the Dover Marina Hotel & Spa as a Sales Manager and lead our sales strategy to drive revenue growth across our diverse hospitality offerings. This role is ideal for a driven individual with a strong background in retail sales management, ready to bring innovative and impactful strategies to our hotel operations.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to exceed revenue targets.
- Identify and pursue new markets and business opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies, and event planners.
- Represent the hotel at trade shows, networking events, and industry functions.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to deliver effective promotional campaigns.
- Conduct site visits and client presentations to showcase our venue.
- Provide detailed sales reports and forecasts to senior management.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in retail sales management, ideally with exposure to the hospitality or events sector.
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
- Ability to analyse market trends and adapt strategies accordingly.
- Highly organised, proactive, and target-driven.
- Proficient in CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
- Degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, or a related field is preferred.
