Description
Duties and responsibilities of the Sales Manager include, but are not limited to;
- Lead a team of 5 including Sales Advisors and Customer Service and Sales Support
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company objectives and drive revenue growth within the food, health & wellbeing sectors
- Identify and target new business opportunities, including manufacturers, wholesalers, and retailers, to expand our market presence
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions
- Lead and motivate the sales team to meet and exceed sales targets, providing coaching and support as needed
- Collaborate with marketing and product development teams to ensure alignment of sales strategies with product offerings and market trends
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation
- Utilise CRM software to track sales activities, manage customer relationships, and generate insightful reports for management
Profile
The successful candidate for the role of Sales Manager will possess;
- Proven experience in B2B sales, preferably within the food or health & wellbeing industry, with a strong track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field preferred
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence decision-makers
- Strong leadership and team management abilities, with a collaborative and motivational approach
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and other relevant computer applications
- Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM software is highly desirable
Job Offer
