Sales Manager - Bis Henderson : Job Details

Location: Leicester

Salary: £45K + car allowance + commission

Our client are a leading European freight forwarder who are looking to continue to build their UK presence and as a result are looking to appoint an experienced Sales Manager.

Responsibilities:

• Seek, develop and secure new opportunities
• Plan personal sales activity effectively with regular contact via telephone, email and face to face communication.
• Establish and plan key accounts.
• Actively promoting the brand and always provide exceptional customer service.
• Self-generate appointments to maximise revenue.
• Provide advice and guidance to resolve queries and objections and ensure follow up and resolutions are delivered.
• Communicate effectively with customers and provide solutions to their issues.
• Maintain a positive attitude and be a team player
• Manage new accounts in your business base, ideally with the aim of becoming the sole supplier.

Requirements:

• European Road Freight experience essential
• Knowledge of Import and Export procedures
• Experience in negotiating rates with clients
• Strong commercials skills and business acumen are necessary as is the ability to identify and maximise opportunities
• Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
• To be a self starter and hit the ground running
