Sales Ledger - Accountancy Action : Job Details

A large, high proforming provider is looking for a Sales Ledger Clerk to join their finance team on a temporary basis. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, with strong systems in place and a clear focus on accuracy and correcting transactional errors.

This is a hands-on, transactional role with a strong emphasis on detail. You will be responsible for:

• Processing a high volume of invoices accurately and efficiently

• Investigating billing discrepancies and correcting errors

• Maintaining the integrity of the sales ledger across multiple service lines

• Allocating payments and reconciling customer accounts

• Liaising with operational teams to resolve invoicing queries

• Supporting the wider finance team with ad hoc tasks as required

• Previous experience in a sales ledger or accounts receivable role

• Confident working with high-volume transactions

• Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to resolving issues

• Good Excel skills and experience with large finance systems or ERP platforms

• Able to work effectively within a structured, process-driven finance team

• Available to start immediately or at short notice
