A large, high proforming provider is looking for a Sales Ledger Clerk to join their finance team on a temporary basis. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, with strong systems in place and a clear focus on accuracy and correcting transactional errors.
The RoleThis is a hands-on, transactional role with a strong emphasis on detail. You will be responsible for:
Processing a high volume of invoices accurately and efficiently
Investigating billing discrepancies and correcting errors
Maintaining the integrity of the sales ledger across multiple service lines
Allocating payments and reconciling customer accounts
Liaising with operational teams to resolve invoicing queries
Supporting the wider finance team with ad hoc tasks as required
Previous experience in a sales ledger or accounts receivable role
Confident working with high-volume transactions
Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to resolving issues
Good Excel skills and experience with large finance systems or ERP platforms
Able to work effectively within a structured, process-driven finance team
Available to start immediately or at short notice
