Sales ledger Analyst - Executive Talent Solutions : Job Details

Our client are an established manufacturing with an established client base and a vision for new product development.

They seek an experienced sales ledger analyst with credit control and management accounts knowledge to support the team. The role will work closely with the finance director and will play a key role in building on the credit control function. This role will also have a key relationship with the sales team, managing invoices and queries. This is a full time, permanent based at the head office site.

Key Responsibilities will include:

• Processing incoming Purchase Orders, converting to a Sales Acknowledgement and confirming the same with the customer
• Processing sales invoices from delivery shipments.
• Credit control, including management of accounts receivable ledger, chasing outstanding debtors and answering customer queries. Report and escalate to the Finance Director as required.
• Supporting the preparation of the monthly management reports for the sales ledger, reporting to the Finance Director
• Assist Sales Team with raising on testing and other ad-hoc invoice requests
• Invoices and statements filing
• Forecast cash incoming and reporting variances to the Finance Director
• Assistance with updating internal processes to drive efficiencies in the finance department
• Building the credit control function in the business with the Finance Director.

This role requires a candidate with strong sales ledger and credit control experience who can quickly learn processes and manage the workload independently. The role requires a strong IT literacy and some experience of working with ERP systems, experience from a product based industry would be useful but not essential.
