Purpose of Role
Generating new business leads for the company. Identifying, attracting, and qualifying potential customers by conducting market research, managing outreach via email and phone, and qualifying leads to build a sales pipeline.
Key Responsibilities & Work Listing
- Diary management and appointment booking for our area sales managers – (to fill their diary’s with fixed appointments, site visits & customer drop ins)
- Proactively sourcing new business opportunities through project searching and outbound calling to potential new customers – (Via the use of websites, internal CRM, recommendations & van sitings)
- Working closely with field sales representatives to keep the CRM system updated and further liaise with the customer following initial contact and transport the customer through their journey
- Onboarding potential new clients through the account application process
- Networking across various forums to build rapport with new and existing customers
- Suggesting customers to Marketing for case studies or references
KPIs
- To have confirmed quality appointments booked for area sales managers – 8 fixed appointments per week, 8 site visits per week.
Qualifications/Expertise
- Confidence with outbound calling
- Ability to multitask while maintaining strong attention to detail
- Experience in sales cold calling (1 year preferred)
- Strong organizational skills
- Being an effective communicator regardless of the method i.e. email/calling
