Description
- Process sales orders in a timely and accurate manner.
- Actively take orders whilst up selling new and existing products.
- Pursue new business opportunities and cultivate existing client relationships.
- Understand and meet customer needs by offering suitable products and services.
- Achieve sales targets and objectives consistently.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the industrial/manufacturing industry.
- Provide excellent customer service and follow up on sales leads.
- Proactively contacting lapsed clients to increase sales.
- Work collaboratively with the sales team and other departments.
- Participate in sales meetings and present sales strategies.
- Keep up-to-date with market trends and competitor activities.
Profile
A successful Sales Executive should have:
- Proven sales and customer service experience in the industrial/manufacturing industry.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- A strong customer service orientation.
- The ability to work well in a team and independently.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Sage knowledge would be desirable but not essential
