Sales & Market Growth Director

My client, a prestigious luxury interior design and architecture company known for delivering bespoke, globally recognised spaces, Is seeking a commercially confident and strategically minded Sales & Market Growth Director to spearhead our expansion into new markets such as hospitality, branded residences, and luxury development projects both in the UK and internationally. This senior leadership role offers the opportunity to significantly impact our growth trajectory and achieve a minimum of £1M in secured income within the first year.

Day-to-Day of the Role:

  • Sales Strategy & Growth: Design and execute a targeted new business strategy that drives revenue beyond current referral channels. Identify market segments and geographies for growth in alignment with their 5-year plan.
  • Pipeline & CRM Ownership: Take full ownership of the sales pipeline, from origination to conversion. Leverage HubSpot to track lead progression, performance, and forecasting.
  • Client Acquisition & Business Development: Source, engage, and convert high-value prospects in new sectors such as hospitality and branded residences.
  • Commercial Intelligence & Opportunity Evaluation: Evaluate new opportunities based on revenue potential, client fit, and operational feasibility.
  • Collaboration & Brand Alignment: Partner with the Client Relationship Director to ensure smooth client transitions and consistent communication. Serve as a visible commercial ambassador of the brand internally and externally.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a senior sales, business development, or commercial leadership role, preferably within luxury interior design, architecture, real estate, hospitality, or high-end services background.
  • Strong track record of independently closing new business valued at £500k+.
  • CRM proficiency — ideally HubSpot — and able to drive data-led pipeline management.
  • High EQ with the ability to navigate client nuances, stakeholder dynamics, and brand tone.
  • Strategic thinker with a passion for opening markets, building relationships, and driving measurable results.
  • Minimum 5 years in a senior sales or commercial development role with demonstrated experience achieving £1M+ targets in a consultative sales environment.
