Our client, a leading OE supplier to global car manufacturers, is seeking a seasoned Sales & Development Manager to drive and support growth across the independent automotive aftermarket in the UK & Ireland. With decades of industry expertise, they deliver premium products and services for both car and commercial vehicle markets.
Key responsibilities for a Sales Development Manager:
- Drive and implement our client sales strategy within your own area of responsibility, including setting and delivering agreed targets.
- Provide strong support to the team for the high value clients and strategic negotiations.
- Ensure consistent, profitable growth in sales revenues through positive planning and collaboration.
- Ensure co-ordination of activity across other functional activities within organisation (e.g., finance, technical departments, customer service, business development).
- Responsible for local market and become an integral part of the HD management team to deliver portfolio and maximise potential for UKVA and the wider business in line with company strategy.
- Identify and target customers to grow business, revenue, and profitability.
Key Skills for a Sales Development Manager:
- Buying group experience is essential
- Experience in aftermarket
- Automotive technical knowledge
- Success in Vehicle aftermarket
- Strong communication skills in English, verbal and written.
- Valid UK driving licence
