We're currently seeking a proactive Sales & Development Executive with familiarity in (or the aptitude to acquire) all transportation modes to expand our bustling team.
Essential qualifications for the ideal candidate:
- Preferably a minimum of 2 years' experience in marketing marine, air, and ground freight within a forwarding context
- Demonstrated experience in sales and developmental roles
- Comprehensive understanding of the Global freight landscape
- Effective negotiation abilities
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and a congenial demeanor
- Proficient with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
- A resilient and collaborative team player
- Outstanding proficiency in English and Mathematics
Job duties and responsibilities:
- Cultivate your own business leads and act upon those shared by Sales and Operations counterparts
- Cultivate new sales opportunities, encompassing FCL/LCL ocean freight, air freight, road freight, both imports, and exports
- Adaptability to work both within the office and in field settings
- A track record of securing transferable business would be advantageous
- Competent in preparing quotations with accurate clauses
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 0900-1700hrs
