Sales Coordinator
Our client is seeking a Sales Coordinator to provide comprehensive sales processing and support services to its customers, including their European subsidiaries and regions such as India and the Middle East. This role involves developing and maintaining excellent relationships with customers and suppliers, and working closely with the General Manager and Sales Engineers to achieve sales targets.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Quote in both dollars and sterling, providing written or verbal quotations as required.
- Process customer orders ensuring all specific requests are adhered to, delivery details are correct, and customer specifications such as quality standards, discount schemes, and special pricing are met.
- Send order acknowledgements and raise purchase orders for suppliers, scheduling deliveries to ensure timely shipment to customers.
- Release Delivery Notes and ensure adherence to delivery schedules, including managing customer amendments and schedules.
- Support stockroom staff in picking, packing, and dispatching goods timely to customers.
- Create invoices and assist the Accounts department with payment queries and issuing credit notes for returned or faulty goods.
- Liaise with Accounts and Goods In departments for information on receipt of shipment, stock control, rotation, and debtor control.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Systems and process-oriented with high attention to detail.
- Proficient in MS Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Experience with SAP /inventory systems is an advantage.
- Professional and confident manner both in person and by telephone.
- Flexible, reliable, proactive, and enthusiastic.
- Car ownership and driving capability are advantageous.
