Sales and Events Assistant required for a prestigious boutique style property in the Rye area of East Sussex.

As Sales and Events Assistant, you will be supporting the Sales & Events Manager.

The ideal candidate will have experience in sales and events ( weddings preferential ), PMS ‘Opera’ experience ( ideally ).

Job Role for the vacancy of Sales and Events Assistant:

• Respond promptly to wedding and event enquiries via phone, email, and in person.
• Conduct venue show-arounds for prospective couples and clients when required.
• Support in converting enquiries into confirmed bookings by preparing proposals, quotations, and contracts.
• Assist the Sales & Events Manager with planning timelines, menu selections, accommodation blocks, and supplier coordination.
• Prepare accurate function sheets and ensure all client requirements are documented and communicated to the operations team.
• Assist with on-the-day coordination of weddings and events, ensuring a seamless guest experience.
• Provide hands-on support during busy periods, which may include evenings and weekends.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required by events.

Within the role as a Sales and Events Assistant, flexibility is key also as in the quiet periods, with no weddings or events you will assist with admin tasks.

Salary for the role of Sales and Events Assistant, is given as competitive.
