About the Role
We’re looking for a detail-oriented and process-driven individual to join a business in the manufacturing industry working in a vital support role focused on sales order processing and customer service. This is a highly structured position that requires accuracy, focus, and a steady hand to manage a high volume of customer orders and internal coordination—ideal for someone who thrives on routine, precision, and keeping things running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales Order Processing for high-volume accounts
- Customer Service for manufacturing clients – managing queries and updates
- Account Management – handling regular orders and amendments
- New Customer Setup in internal systems
- Component Ordering from the factory using Sage 50 – accuracy is critical
- Delivery Coordination – confirming timelines and managing expectations
- Phone Support – answering and directing customer calls
- Basic Quoting – with training provided
- Warehouse Liaison – ensuring dispatch accuracy and resolving issues
What We’re Looking For
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Comfortable with repetitive tasks and structured processes
- Ability to stay focused and manage multiple small tasks efficiently
- Experience with Sage 50 (preferred but not essential)
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
