Sales Administrator - Office Angels : Job Details

Sales Administrator - Temporary role (potential to go permanent!)We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for a Sales Administrator to join a dynamic and collaborative team based in Edinburgh. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a keen eye for detail and a passion for organisation and customer service to join a busy team and contribute to the smooth delivery of client projects.

Location: Edinburgh (fully office based role)Employment Type: Temporary with a view to go permanent (not guaranteed)Start Date: ImmediateWorking week - Monday to Friday, 9am - 5.30pmSalary: up to £26,000

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and manage lower-value sales quotations
• Assist with budget pricing and tender schedules
• Liaise with suppliers to obtain pricing, specifications, and lead times
• Coordinate team calendars for training and workshops
• Support Account Managers with mock-ups and sample orders
• Track supplier deliveries and ensure timelines are met
• Verify supplier order acknowledgements against purchase orders
• Monitor project budgets and flag discrepancies
• Attend internal handover and project meetings
• Ensure delivery of agreed client service levels
• Maintain workflow documentation for compliance and audits
• Book deliveries and installations for smaller orders
• Authorise supplier invoices and track job reports
• Handle warranty and service issues
• Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders

Skills & Experience:

• Experience in a customer service or procurement role
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask
• Calm under pressure and proactive in problem-solving
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
