Engineering Sales Administrator

- Salary: £27,000 - £28,000 pa dependent on experience
Join our dynamic office team as an Engineering Sales Administrator. This role is perfect for someone who is highly personable, proactive, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. You will be the first point of contact for new engineering enquiries, ensuring our customers receive outstanding service and timely delivery of products.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Respond to customer enquiries and provide accurate quotations via phone and email.
- Process customer purchase orders and create job entries using our bespoke system.
- Coordinate with suppliers and customers regarding product availability and delivery timelines.
- Manage incoming deliveries and book goods into the system.
- Prepare delivery notes and schedule deliveries in line with driver availability.
- Verify sales invoices, resolve pricing discrepancies, and request credit notes when necessary.
- Generate product invoices and maintain accurate records.
- Oversee annual stock take and assist in preparing end-of-year reports for management.
- Handle warranty returns and manages customer accounts.
- Perform general administrative duties as required.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Excellent telephone manner and communication skills.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- IT literate with a confident, can-do attitude.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Previous experience in a sales or administrative role is beneficial but not essential.
