Our client, a leading and expanding manufacturing organisation, established for over 30 years in Tamworth, is seeking a Sales Administrator to join their Customer Service team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting the Specification and Key Accounts Sales Team across multiple group companies. Salary is between £27,000 to £28,000 depending on experience. Hours of work will be between the hours of 9:00am to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday – 37.5 hours per week. Please note this is an office-based position. As the Sales Administrator, your key responsibilities include:
- Act as primary contact for Key Account Managers, Specification Managers, and their customers (including contractors) on all active projects
- Review stock positions, update ETAs, and provide timely feedback on project order status
- Coordinate product quoting, ordering, allocation, and shipping across all group companies
- Liaise regularly with internal departments: Customer Service Advisors, ASMs, Administration, Supply Chain, Procurement, and the Bespoke Stock team
- Work with the Bespoke Stock team to coordinate reworks for non-standard items and ensure readiness for dispatch in line with project schedules
- Liaise with the Commercial team to confirm and document special pricing for bespoke items and projects
- Prepare accurate and timely quotes using Excel, Sage, and in-house systems
- Record and track the outcome of quotes, updating internal systems with project wins
- Analyse and report on quote-to-order ratios for the Specification team, Regional Sales Managers, and Sales Directors
- Provide overflow support to the wider Customer Service team as needed
