Sales Administrator Langley, Slough Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm (5 days in office)

As a Sales Administrator, you will report to the Office Manager and serve as the main point of contact for customers via email and phone. Your primary responsibilities will include processing sales orders, preparing quotes, and liaising with the Workshop and Purchasing departments for special order requirements. You will build and maintain relationships with customers, ensuring their orders are processed efficiently from inputting on Sage Line 50 to delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to customer requests for quotes and orders via telephone and email.
  • Enter orders onto Sage and liaise with the Workshop for special/bespoke items.
  • Take payments and update customer orders via Sage Line 50.
  • Track orders and keep customers informed of any delays.
  • Coordinate UK and international shipments, including necessary paperwork.
  • Raise invoices and send them out promptly.
  • Maintain and update sales and customer records via ACT! CRM system
  • Liaise with Accounts for outstanding invoice payments (Credit Control).
  • Assist with customer projects and enquiries.
  • Process customer returns through the RMA process.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong commitment and ability to work to deadlines.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and Sage Line 50.
  • Previous sales experience is advantageous.
  • Understanding of national and international shipments and paperwork requirements.
