We are seeking an experienced and passionate Safeguarding Lead to lead the operational safeguarding function, ensuring every learner has the opportunity to thrive in a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment.

Role Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate safeguarding operations, ensuring best practice and statutory compliance.
• Champion learner access to education by addressing emotional, behavioural, and mental health needs.
• Foster a culture of ambition, collaboration, and shared success across all departments.
• Provide safeguarding advice, training, and guidance to staff across the organisation.
• Analyse and report safeguarding data to inform curriculum and support planning.
• Act as Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) and manage a team of safeguarding officers.

Essential Requirements

• Level 3 safeguarding qualification.
• DSL training and up-to-date safeguarding knowledge.
• Degree-level qualification or equivalent experience.
• Proven safeguarding management experience within education or a related setting.
• Strong understanding of safeguarding legislation and best practice.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
