This is a full-time role with flexible work-from-home options.

The SaaS Sales Executive works collaboratively with the CEO and the broader senior executive team and is chiefly responsible for:

  • Demonstrating a detailed understanding of the PowerHouse LMS product and how the product improves corporate training, contractor compliance, continuing professional development, onboarding, upskilling and mobility.
  • Delivering professional product demonstrations to potential customers and sales partners.
  • Managing the sales process from initial engagement to closing sales.
  • Managing marketing qualified and partner generated leads as well as using initiative to generate your own leads and opportunities.
  • Managing all aspects of the sales process, including organising meeting requirements, preparing proposals and effectively maintaining engagement with customers.

KEY ATTRIBUTES

  • You must be a self-starter, independent worker, confident, experienced, and passionate about customer acquisition.
  • You must have experience and success in selling SaaS software to employers, associations and/or organisations.
  • You must have the ability to engage effectively with people from all levels of an organisation, from executive to operational roles.
  • You can leverage existing opportunities within the business with upselling to existing customers and use initiative and networks to build new sales opportunities.
  • It is expected that you have meticulous planning and organisational skills to manage multiple client projects simultaneously using CRM and management tools.
  • You must have highly proficient spoken and written communication skills.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Reporting to the CEO you will be engaging new customers and partners, leveraging existing customers and partnering with our enterprise industry initiatives to promote and sell our software to employers in the sector. You will be responsible for the following:

  • Defining and implementing go-to-market strategies to generate short and long-term customer success and business results.
  • Managing the end-to-end sales process to ensure delivery against key performance metrics, with a strong emphasis on new business sales and expanding existing accounts.
  • Pipeline development through a combination of existing customers, warm leads, cold calling, email campaigns and market sector knowledge/intelligence.
  • Engage with and leverage internal and external resources such as our executive, our sales team, associations, and partners to assist with sales cycle stages.
  • Report accurate monthly forecasting and revenue delivery figures using the CRM.
  • Provide after sales support (non-technical) with your clients to ensure they derive value from their subscription to drive adoption, referrals, and renewals.
  • Manage leads and shall also receive briefings and customer introductions from the Senior Executive Team to enable you to manage the sales prospect to close.
  • Book meetings, set agendas, complete follow-up tasks in a timely fashion to move the prospects through the sales process.
  • Listen, understand, and document the customer business requirements and provide a Customer Proposal with a list of deliverables and costs.
  • Demonstrate PowerHouse Workforce as a product specialist and showcase relevant solutions to customers and partners via webinars.
  • Create and maintain a demo site of the site to support your product demonstrations as part of the sales process.

WHAT SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE YOU BRING:

The successful candidate will be experienced in IT and SaaS technology platform sales with an understanding of the current workforce challenges. Related experience in recruitment may be considered favourably but not essential.

Above all you must demonstrate:

  • The ability to manage effective engagement with multiple prospects and client projects simultaneously.
  • An ability to understand customer needs and create an appropriate proposal to support the sales process.
  • Experience in forecasting sales and managing the sales funnel to close.
  • Outstanding organisational skills
  • Effective problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Good listening skills and the ability to communicate in a clear, logical manner, both verbally and in writing
  • A professional, positive, and reliable work ethic and a "can do" attitude
  • Experience selling software in the Health, ICT and Finance sectors an advantage.

You must have:

  • 5+ years’ experience as a Sales Executive selling technology / software products
  • A proven track record in achieving on-target sales to achieve commission

The salary is commensurate with experience. The package includes a good base salary and a high commission scheme.
