RTA Paralegal - CRA Consulting : Job Details

Job Title: RTA ParalegalSalary: £23,000 - £26,000Location: West YorkshireContract: Full time, permanent, hybridThe OpportunityCRA Consulting is delighted to partner with a prestigious Top 100 UK law firm renowned for its modern, client-focused approach and inclusive culture. We are currently recruiting for a Legal Assistant to join their high-performing Serious Injury department, with a dedicated focus on complex, high-value Road Traffic Accident (RTA) claims. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Personal Injury professional who wants to develop their skills in serious RTA litigation, supporting senior fee earners on impactful and rewarding work. Key Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day support to senior fee earners managing multi-track RTA claims, including catastrophic and life-changing injury cases
• Draft standard correspondence and legal documents using the firm's case management system (ProClaim)
• Act as the first point of contact for RTA clients, ensuring excellent client care throughout the claim process
• Manage inbound calls, take detailed messages, and assist with initial client enquiries
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records on ProClaim
• Assist with scheduling medical assessments, expert reports, and court dates
• Liaise with insurers, medical agencies, and third-party solicitors as required
• Work closely with your manager to meet monthly KPIs and team goals
• Support the team with administrative tasks including document preparation, scanning, post handling, and task management
• Help ensure a smooth workflow across the department, especially during peak periods

What We're Looking For

• Experience within a personal injury law firm is essential, ideally with a focus on RTA claims
• Familiarity with multi-track or serious injury cases is desirable, but those with fast-track RTA experience looking to step up will also be considered
• Strong organisational skills and a high level of attention to detail
• A confident communicator with a team-oriented mindset
• Previous use of ProClaim (or similar case management systems) is advantageous
