Job Description :

Salary: £24,294 to £29,777 per annum.

Location: Your office base will be Chichester and a typical week will combine homeworking with attendance at the office or site visits. This is led by the needs of the service.

Contract: Permanent.

Working pattern: Full-time, 37 hours per week. Flexible working options available, to be agreed with your line manager.

Employer Pension Contribution: 19.70% this alters per annum on the 1st April each year.

Annual leave: 25 days holiday + Bank holidays = 33 days.

As a Road Safety Project Support Officer, you will offer guidance to the public on how to become safer road users. You will support the creation and delivery of effective interventions to reduce road casualties and increase active travel. This will include supporting the delivery of our Bikeability cycle training scheme, liaising with schools and individuals to coordinate training sessions and staffing.

You will provide advice, respond to queries, and influence individuals and groups to change behaviour through tailored communications.

This role will be subject to a successful Criminal Records Bureau check.

  • Sound communication and interpersonal skills.
