Risk and Control Analyst - Reed : Job Details

A niche financial institution in London is seeking a Risk & Control Officer to join its Second Line of Defence team. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the development and enhancement of the organisation’s Operational Risk & Control framework.

Key Details:

• Salary: Up to £55,000 + bonus + benefits
• Location: London (hybrid working - 2 days in office)
• Type: Permanent
• Team: Second Line of Defence, reporting to the Risk Manager

Responsibilities include:

• Designing and executing control testing to identify and address weaknesses
• Supporting teams in developing new controls and processes
• Embedding risk management practices across the organisation
• Incident reporting and assurance testing
• Maintaining operational resilience assessments
• Producing MI for risk reporting and regulatory compliance
• Providing cover for the Risk Manager when needed

Ideal Candidate:

• Experience in financial services or regulated environments
• Background in risk management, control testing, or compliance
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Detail-oriented, resilient, and proactive
• Comfortable working independently and managing multiple priorities
