Position: Retoucher

Location: South London/Essex

Salary: 35-45k

We have a client in South London who also have a studio in Essex looking for a retoucher to join the team

3+ years of technical retouch experience

FMCG packaging retouch experience

Passionate about retouching/imagery

Comping ingredients together to create serving suggestions advantageous

Desktop colour separation (DCS) experience essential

Full understanding of working with Min and Max dot

Full understanding of all print processes & reprographics and impact on images

Portfolio showing quality pieces and various types of retouching

Portfolio showing complex colour correction/channel work desirable

Used to working in a fast paced, high volume creative environment

Advanced knowledge of Adobe Photoshop/Creative Suite/MAC experience

Knowledgeable about colour work/correction

Knowledgeable about image size/quality and lighting

Highly creative with good visual awareness and a keen eye for detail

Knowledge of digital photography would be advantageous

Experience of applying mid dot% and working with printers ink limitations (total ink coverage) advantageous

Commercial awareness
