A leading Insolvency & Asset Recovery team is seeking a talented Restructuring & Insolvency Lawyer with 2–4 years PQE. The team specialises in contentious insolvency and asset recovery, representing officeholders, lenders, shareholders, and investors.
The role involves managing complex disputes, pursuing asset recovery, and coordinating claims across multiple jurisdictions alongside international law firms.
Salary - £105,000 - £116,000 plus bonus scheme
Location - London hybrid working available

Role Overview
The successful candidate will handle a varied caseload of contentious and non-contentious matters, including:
- Acting for insolvency officeholders on contentious litigation.
- Advising stakeholders such as lenders, shareholders, and investors.
- Managing disputes, asset recovery, and monetisation of claims.
- Supporting cross-border matters and coordinating with international law firms.
- Preparing reports, letters of advice, statements, and instructions to experts or counsel.
- Handling disclosure, bundles, cost schedules, and cost assessments.
- Conducting litigation proceedings and attending interlocutory hearings.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will have:
- 2–4 years’ PQE in restructuring and insolvency, preferably in a full-service R&I team.
- Strong experience in contentious insolvency litigation.
- Solid understanding of insolvency law, practice, and procedure.
- Familiarity with leading UK insolvency practitioners and an emerging professional network.
- A minimum 2:1 law degree (or equivalent) and commendation at LPC/BVC.
- Excellent drafting, advocacy, and communication skills.
- A client-focused approach with the ability to manage complex matters efficiently.
