With a salary ranging from £30,000-£35,000 plus gratuities and a wide range of benefits, this is an exciting opportunity to really make your mark on the operation and have a positive impact on the team. Having previously managed teams in a 5-star setting, you will lead their restaurant team with finesse, ensuring every guest receives an unforgettable dining experience. From driving revenue through strategic upselling to meticulously managing schedules and stock, you'll play a pivotal role in maintaining their high standards.As Restaurant Manager, your duties will include:

• Supporting and contributing to menu development.
• Managing the weekly staff rotas to maximise the use of resources and minimise costs.
• Maximising revenue and profitability through upselling and actively pursuing any opportunities that may arise.
• Liaising with other departments to ensure guest expectations are not only met but exceeded.
• Being confident when dealing and talking about wine with customers, pouring and topping up during their visit.
• Ordering, monitoring and controlling costs and stock levels for liquor to ensure all requirements are met and ensure minimum wastage and security of stock.
• Responding to any customer complaints and taking appropriate action.
• Maintaining up to date knowledge of all current licensing, health, safety, and food hygiene requirements and to ensure that the restaurant staff are fully compliant.
• Providing reports as required by the Senior Management Team / Owners.
• Being financially aware of how role and department impact on hotel profit and loss.

We’re looking for a Restaurant Manager with the following skills and experience:

• Previous experience in a managerial role within a 4- or 5-star luxury hotel
• Strong knowledge of food safety procedures
• Strong commercial awareness and business acumen
• Personal Licence Holder
• Excellent knowledge of kitchen operations.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays as required.
