Job Description :

Reed HR are recruiting a Strategic Resourcing Specialist on an interim basis. This role is for 6 months, the rate advertised is paid through an umbrella company (the PAYE rate is lower)

Principal accountabilities

  • Work as part of the Strategic Resourcing and Talent Team to provide a comprehensive service to managers and staff across the organisation in recruitment and retention of staff.
  • Provide expert advice on resourcing options, recruitment schedules and methods, job advertisements, application forms, selection processes (including assessment centres and testing), interview questions and appointment procedures.
  • Select and deliver a range of attraction methodologies including internal / external events that meet the standards for diversity and fair access of opportunities whilst ensuring cost effective sourcing of quality and relevant candidates? 
  • Support the resourcing advisor who manages the end-to-end recruitment cycle for executive and Board roles, working with Executive Search firms, where applicable. Work to agreed recruitment targets/ KPIs in doing so.  
  • Work with the Head of Strategic Resourcing and Talent, colleagues across the People Function and senior managers to?develop an approach for strategic workforce planning. This will involve applying expertise in the identification of long-term workforce demand requirements, supply modelling and action planning to ensure the workforce is aligned to the business needs and efficiently and effectively enables the business plan.? 
  • Support the data analyst with the production of data-driven insight to influence business strategy and provide accurate reporting and analysis of recruitment activity.? 
  • Build professional relationships with external stakeholders including external recruitment agencies.
  • Managing the end-to-end process as and when requested by hiring managers.

Essential Criteria

  • Recent resourcing experience within the public sector (local or central government, civil service)
  • Experience of delivering inclusive recruitment practices
  • CIPD qualified or equivalent experience
  • Please note, pay is via an umbrella company

Salary : 38 - 40
