Residential Property Solicitor/Conveyancer

We are recruiting a full-time candidate to join our expanding Residential Property Team based at our Cardiff Office (with the opportunity for remote working for several days a week). A competitive salary and benefits package is available.

The successful candidate will be a Solicitor, Chartered Legal Executive or Licenced Conveyancer with at least two years PQE.

Job Description

The role will involve handling a mixed caseload of sales, purchases and re-mortgages of both freehold and leasehold properties on behalf of private clients. Working as part of a small team, under the supervision of a Senior Associate, you will be managing the file from the point of instruction through to completion.

Excellent communication skills are required to liaise with clients, agents, solicitors and colleagues.

Applicant Criteria

A qualified Solicitor, Licenced Conveyancer or Chartered Legal Executive with at least two years’ experience of running their own caseload with minimal supervision.

The successful candidate will be:

• Experienced in handling a varied caseload including leasehold sales/purchases and newbuilds.
• Organised with a client focused approach and committed to maintaining high quality standards.
• Able to work well under pressure in a supportive and collaborative environment.
• Familiar with Money Laundering Regulations, regulatory requirements and CQS protocols.
• Experienced with using a case management system.
