Residential Property Solicitor

Are you an experienced Residential Property Solicitor with 5+ years PQE looking to step into a more senior role where your legal and leadership skills are truly valued?

A well-established, forward-thinking law firm in Reading is looking for a confident Solicitor to join its busy Residential Property team. This role offers not only a strong caseload but also the chance to mentor junior staff, help shape best practices and contribute to the strategic development of the department.

The Role:

You’ll manage a varied residential conveyancing caseload, including:

• Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
• Remortgages, transfers of equity and equity release
• Lease extensions and enfranchisement
• Ownership and title advice
• Rights of way and boundary issues
• Residential landlord and tenant matters

In addition, you’ll:

• Support and supervise junior fee earners and paralegals
• Review files and assist with technical queries
• Help improve internal systems and workflows
• Play a key role in departmental growth and client development

What You’ll Need:

• 5+ years PQE in residential conveyancing
• Strong technical knowledge, particularly in leasehold and complex titles
• Experience (or readiness) to mentor and supervise others
• Excellent communication, organisation and client care skills
• Commercial awareness and an interest in developing client relationships
