Job Description :

One of our Legal 500 Practice Clients is seeking a skilled and motivated Conveyancing Solicitor with 2-5 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) to join our reputable firm in Central London. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in our conveyancing department, managing a diverse caseload and providing expert legal advice to clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage a varied caseload of residential conveyancing matters from inception to completion.
  • Conduct legal research, draft legal documents, and provide legal advice to clients on conveyancing matters.
  • Liaise with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other parties involved in property transactions to facilitate smooth and timely transactions.
  • Handle complex conveyancing issues, including title defects, leasehold matters, and property disputes.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and procedures governing conveyancing transactions.
  • Provide excellent client service, maintaining regular communication and keeping clients informed throughout the conveyancing process.
  • Work closely with other members of the conveyancing team to share knowledge, best practices, and contribute to the overall success of the department.
  • Keep abreast of developments in conveyancing law and practice, attending training sessions and professional development opportunities as necessary.
  • Assist with business development initiatives, including networking events, client seminars, and marketing activities to promote the firm's conveyancing services.
  • Uphold the highest standards of professionalism, ethics, and integrity in all interactions and transactions.
  • Requirements:

  • Qualified Solicitor with 2-5 years of PQE in conveyancing law.
  • Solid experience managing a caseload of residential and/or commercial conveyancing matters independently.
  • Strong knowledge of conveyancing law, procedures, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex legal concepts clearly and concisely to clients.
  • Exceptional client service skills with a proactive and client-focused approach.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Team player with a collaborative attitude and willingness to share knowledge and support colleagues.
  • Proficiency in case management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Membership in the Law Society of England and Wales is preferred.
  • A genuine interest in property law and a commitment to ongoing professional development.
