Residential Conveyancer - The Eventus Recruitment Group : Job Details

Eventus Recruitment Group are seeking an ambitious and client focused Residential Conveyancer (Solicitor, CILEX or Licensed Conveyancer) to join a highly regarded and supportive Residential Property team based in Farnborough. This is a full time, permanent job position offering a salary of up to £55,000 (depending on experience) along with excellent benefits including a generous holiday allowance, bonus scheme, free parking on site and more. This role has arisen due to retirement and represents a unique opportunity to take over a well maintained residential caseload in a close-knit and friendly team.

Working within a friendly and collaborative Residential Conveyancing team in Farnborough town centre you will be providing expert legal advice. The firm is a small to medium sized practice with an established base built on decades of relationships. The day-to-day job responsibilities within this residential conveyancing role include:

• Managing a full residential caseload from instruction through to post-completion
• Handling leasehold and freehold matters including sales, purchases, re-mortgages, and transfers of equity
• Drafting documentation and handling title queries and easements
• Meeting clients in person and delivering exceptional client care
• Advising clients occasionally on Independent Legal Advice (training can be provided if not experienced in this area)

To be successful in this role, you will need a minimum of three years’ post-qualification experience gained within a law firm, specifically in Residential Conveyancing. My client is looking for a qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive (CILEX), or Licensed Conveyancer who possesses the following experience, skills, and attributes:

• A solid grounding and technical knowledge in residential conveyancing
• Ability to multitask, prioritise effectively and meet deadlines under pressure
• Able to manage a busy caseload independently
• Strong commercial acumen and a client-focused mindset
• Excellent interpersonal and client care skills
• Good working knowledge of conveyancing systems, ideally LEAP
