OverviewMy client is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Conveyancer to join their legal team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the conveyancing process for residential and commercial property transactions. This role requires excellent organisational skills, strong communication abilities, and a solid understanding of property law. As a Conveyancer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that transactions are completed efficiently and in compliance with legal requirements.
Duties
- Manage the conveyancing process from initial instruction through to completion, ensuring all documentation is accurate and submitted on time.
- Communicate effectively with clients, estate agents, and other stakeholders to provide updates and gather necessary information.
- Conduct thorough property searches and due diligence to identify any potential issues that may affect the transaction.
- Prepare legal documents such as contracts, transfer deeds, and completion statements.
- Liaise with mortgage lenders to facilitate the release of funds upon completion of transactions.
- Maintain accurate records of all correspondence and documentation related to each case.
- Provide exceptional customer service throughout the conveyancing process, addressing any queries or concerns promptly.
- Stay updated on changes in property law and regulations to ensure compliance.
Experience
- Proven experience in conveyancing or a similar legal role is preferred.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple cases simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Proficiency in IT systems and software relevant to conveyancing processes.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with clients and colleagues.
- Highly organised with a keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy in all documentation and processes.
