Residential Children's support worker - £ 14 - 19 per hour - Randstad Care : Job Details

Randstad is seeking a Residential Children Support Worker to join our team in Rotherham.

The Role:

As a Residential Children Support Worker, you'll provide essential care and support to children in a residential setting. You'll play a key role in creating a safe and nurturing environment, promoting their physical, emotional, and social well-being.

You'll work closely with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans, support children in their daily activities, and maintain accurate records.

What We're Looking For:

• At least 6 months of experience as a Residential Children Support Worker in a residential setting within the last 3 years.
• A full UK driving license and access to your own car.
• An up-to-date DBS certificate.
• If you've lived outside the UK for more than 6 months in the last 5 years, you'll need a valid Police Clearance certificate.

Ideal Qualifications & Skills:

• NVQ Level 3 in Children and Young People or an equivalent qualification (desirable).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
• Genuine empathy, patience, and a strong commitment to the welfare of children.
• A solid understanding of safeguarding policies and procedures.
